Patrick T. Hennessey, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.P., concierge physician and medical director of Orlando Executive HealthCare, LLC, is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Hennessey is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and fellow of the American College of Physicians. He performed his internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, with a fellowship in internal medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the Uniformed Services University of The Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., where he served on the faculty. With 25 years of experience and five years of postdoctoral training and continuing education, Dr. Hennessey is unique to Southwest Orlando. His passion for his patients speaks through his personal care. Dr. Hennessey believes that physicians need the time to get to know their patients and to teach them about their health, how to maintain it, and how to improve it. He prides himself on helping patients discover the care they have been missing from their health care.

Aparna Hernandez, M.D.

Aparna Hernandez, M.D., graduated with honors from medical school in India. She served one year as a research associate in transplantation medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. After finishing an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center, where she served as chief resident for one year, Dr. Hernandez completed a yearlong fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. First board certified in 1995, Dr. Hernandez was re-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with full honors in 2005. She served as chair of the Department of Medicine at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and director of the critical-care committee. She served as the young physician’s representative with the Orange County Medical Society. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and Orange County Medical Society. Since establishing her practice at Southwest Internal Medicine Specialists in 1998, Dr. Hernandez, a Southwest resident, has strived for intellectual excellence, while practicing confident, compassionate and empathetic patient care.

Board-certified in internal medicine, Fernando Hernandez, M.D., attended medical school in Spain and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital, now a part of Trinitas Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. As the former chief of medicine at Orlando Health, Dr. Hernandez has been in practice for 30 years.

She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She attended the University of Central Florida to complete her prerequisites for admission to physician assistant school. She attended the Drexel University physician assistant program in Philadelphia, where she received her master’s of health sciences in August 2008. She graduated with class honors and was an active member in both academic and community programs, including community outreach and educational programs.
