Act III Acting & Performing Arts Studio offers acting and performance camps throughout the summer.

ACT III ACTING & PERFORMING ARTS STUDIO held at the Garden Theatre, 160 W. Back by popular demand is the full-day Broadway musicals camp from June 25-29. In addition, the studio presents a three-week Summer Stock production July 2-20, with the camp-ending production of Oliver taking place July 21-22.

Broadway Bound Summer Camp, presented by Vocals Illustsrated, is for young performers 4-older.

Broadway Bound Summer Camp is offered for young performers 4-older. Participants of the half-day camp gain confidence, along with technique, as they work on a musical that builds character and teaches good manners. The group performs a musical review for friends and family members on the last day of camp.

Camps from In the Limelight are offered for children and teens in grades one-12.

ACTING, MUSICAL THEATER & PRODUCTION CAMPS presented by In the Limelight at its new performing arts studio and theater, 5555 S. Aspiring stars learn production, acting, art and musical theater skills from June 11-Aug. 17. Production camps include Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Kids, Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods and Fame. Auditions are April 14. Other offerings include pop sensations musical theater, as well as themed acting camps, including Pixie Hollow, Harry Potter and more. Extended care is offered. Costs range from $175-$425.

Orlando Repertory Theatre Youth Academy camps foster self-confidence, creative thinking, problem solving and more.

The state-of-the-art facility offers year-round swim programs for all ages, and staff members are devoted to enriching their students’ lives by instilling independence and self-confidence through swimming. Basic training teaches children as young as 6 months the essential skills of swimming. The SouthWest Stars swim team offers a variety of swim programs to accommodate age, skill level and commitment.

Campers at Crealdé School of Art explore creativity through the arts.

ART CAMPS at Crealdé School of Art, 600 St. Andrews Blvd., Winter Park, 407-671-1886, www.crealde.org. Campers ages 4-17 explore their creativity through painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and photography as they learn from artists in working studios. One- or two-week sessions are offered June 11-Aug. 2. The ArtCamp exhibition, which includes one project from each camper, takes place Aug. 18-Sept. 8. A reception will be held Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. in the Showalter Hughes Community Gallery on Crealdé’s campus.

Orlando Magic 2012 Summer Basketball Camps feature expert instruction from the National Basketball Academy.

BASKETBALL CAMPS at Orlando Magic 2012 Summer Basketball Camps. Columbus Center Dance Academy offers themed dance and show camps that include a weekly performance.

Just Dance Studios offers six different camp sessions that feature different content and choreography. Beginning June 18, all sessions are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-noon, including a light snack and all materials. Camps are available for ages 3-12, and the cost per week is $150. Just Dance Studios also offers its normal variety of dance classes.

Instruction in ballet, jazz, musical theater and more is offered at Orlando Ballet School’s summer dance programs.
