Ryan L. Mendro, D.D.S., M.S., recognizes the importance of restoring smiles to their optimal health and function. He is a periodontist, a dentist who is uniquely trained and specializes in the treatment of periodontal (gum) diseases and the placement of dental implants. A Florida native, Dr. Mendro received his bachelor’s in nutrition from the University of Florida. He received his Doctor of Dental Science from Columbia University in New York. He then returned to UF, where he completed his periodontics residency, Master of Science and training in intravenous and oral sedation. Dr. Mendro is a published author and teaches periodontics at the University of Florida as a courtesy faculty member. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. While there, she worked at a private practice outpatient clinic, where she became proficient in spinal, pelvic girdle, costal and various other orthopedic dysfunctions.
