Members of Olympia High’s Italian Club prepared a variety of homemade Italian dishes for the annual fundraiser dinner. Foreign-language teachers Kimberly Beltrame and Kimberly Thomson helped students prepare the Italian-inspired feast. Proceeds from the event co-benefited The Sharing Center, which distributes donated food and items to Central Florida residents in need; and American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. OHS Italian Club students also helped stock a school Christmas store that provided free items to struggling Orlando families during the holidays. |

The fourth annual Central Florida Scholarship Fair will be held Jan. 12 from 5-8 p.m. at the Orange County Public Schools Educational Leadership Center, located at 445 W. Amelia St. in Orlando. Participants can meet with college representatives to discuss admission and scholarship opportunities. OCPS high school seniors should bring multiple copies of their transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, two letters of recommendation, a résumé and completed essay titled Why I Want to Go to College.
