| Bay Meadows Elementary will hold its sixth annual Fall Festival & Silent Auction on Nov. 6 from 1-4 p.m. The family event will include games, prizes, carnival rides, rock wall climbing, inflatables, a dunk tank, airbrush tattoos, disc jockey, pirate ship slide and fifth-grade concession stand offering pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, tacos and more. Wristbands for unlimited rides are available for $5 each. All proceeds from the silent auction will be used to fund PTA programs. Credit cards are accepted for silent auction items only. Douglas and Claire Warner of Serenity Hills Llama Ranch in Groveland brought a variety of alpacas to visit Sunset Park Elementary second-graders. Mrs. Warner also read llama-themed books to the students, which she then donated to the school’s library. The event was planned in conjunction with Read for the Record. |
