The Windermere Rebels baseball team went undefeated to take home the 10-under division championship title from the Turn Back the Clock tournament held at ESPN Wide World of Sports. The team is coached by Neal Harris, Doug Irmscher, Rich Olgee and Steve Wilkerson; and managed by Mike McMahon.

Members of Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge receive team competition top honors from the Southwest Orlando Golf League.

  The Southwest Orlando Golf League recognized the team that accumulated the fewest strokes throughout the season. Participants included golfers from Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, the Golden Bear Club at Keene’s Pointe, West Orange Country Club, and Windermere Country Club. Congratulations to the women of Bay Hill, who took this season’s top honors.

The OTown Wolves basbeall team places first in the 12-under division at the U.S. Specialty Sports Association Mizuno Challenge NIT tournament. Congratulations to (front, l. to r.) T.J.  The OTown Wolves baseball team defeated the Gainesville Ghosts 9-0 to win the 12-under championship game at the U.S. Specialty Sports Association Mizuno Challenge NIT tournament. Throughout the tournament, the boys outscored their opponents 32-2.

Residents of The Willows complete the Battle at Fort DeSoto triathlon.

The Give Kids The World 5K Gingerbread Run will be held Nov. 5 at 6:30 a.m. at Give Kids The World Village, located at 210 S. Bass Road in Kissimmee. This family-friendly event is open to residents of all ages and abilities.

The cost is $25 per adult and $10 per child ages 3 through 12; and participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 through fundraising efforts.

LPGA’s CME Group Titleholders tournament will be held Nov. 17 through Nov. 20 at Grand Cypress Golf Club, located at 1 N. Jacaranda St. in Orlando.
