After 18 years of practicing as a vascular surgeon in the greater Orlando area, John D. Horowitz, M.D., has committed his practice to the care of patients with venous disorders that commonly create pain, swelling, fatigue and a generalized loss of a healthy feeling in the lower extremities. Dr. Horowitz uses minimally invasive vein therapy, which offers his patients the most technologically advanced vein care. He uses endovenous laser therapy for superficial venous reflux, the root cause of venous insufficiency and varicose veins. This procedure uses laser energy to heat the veins and seal them closed. Dr. Horowitz is a board-certified vascular surgeon and one of the only physicians in the Central Florida area to also be board-certified in phlebology.
