Marla A. Robbins, M.D., has served Southwest residents since 1985, specializing in the care of infants, children and adolescents. In 2006, she relocated her private practice to the Dr. Phillips area to get back to basics and do what she loves most — work in an intimate environment and interact with her patients, as well as their families. She is a strong advocate of preventive pediatric care. Dr. Robbins received specialty training in pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center and Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in New York. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and member of the Central Florida Pediatric Society. Dr. Robbins is fluent in Spanish and English, and currently is accepting new patients. Ill children are scheduled for same day appointments, and she accepts most insurance plans.

Denise Serafin, M.D., F.A.A.P., earned her medical degree at Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico. She completed a residency in pediatrics and adolescent medicine at Cleveland Clinic’s Children’s Hospital in Ohio, where she served as chief resident during her final year. For one year, Dr. Serafin worked as a clinical associate in the emergency room/urgent care at Cleveland Clinic before she joined Windermere Pediatrics in 2005. She is board-certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Established in 1985, the staff of Windermere Pediatrics welcomes new and returning patients to their new office in MetroWest. All physicians are board-certified, caring individuals who want to help parents obtain the best medical care for their children. Windermere Pediatrics’ physicians and their start dates include Ginny Guyton, M.D., 1989; Carmen Noriega, M.D., 2000; Kathleen Jones, D.N.P., A.R.N.P., 2001; Hernando Cardona, M.D., 2003; Denise Serafin, M.D., 2005; Kathy Adragna, A.R.N.P., 2009; and Amber Eastwood, A.R.N.P., 2009. Windermere Pediatrics also offers a “Meet the Doctor” prenatal class every month. This informative gathering is led by one of the pediatricians and followed by a question-and-answer session. A tour of the office is included, and each participant receives a complimentary diaper bag with baby products. Windermere Pediatrics’ physicians would like to remind their patients that flu vaccines are now available.
