Kenneth Andronico, D.O., F.I.C.S, F.A.A.F.R.M., A.B.A.A.R.M., has practiced medicine for more than 25 years, specializing in the fields of anti-aging medicine, functional medicine, regenerative medicine and preventive medicine. He also offers preventive eye care and treatment for dry eye, glaucoma and macular degeneration. A trained ophthalmologist, Dr. Andronico completed an additional six years of training to became board-certified and recognized as a diplomate in anti-aging medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and Regenerative Medicine. He completed a clinical preceptorship in hormonal metabolic diseases. Dr. Andronico spends hundreds of hours per year in education of current modalities and treatments relevant to his field. Abeela Haq, M.A., L.M.H.C., is a licensed mental health and trained functional family therapist. She received a master’s in counseling from Webster University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in health psychology. She is a group facilitator for “Living Well with Lupus,” which is a lupus support group. Haq has more than eight years of experience in the mental health field, working with diverse populations, including high-risk teens, individuals, couples, families, geriatrics and the chronically ill. Her counseling approach is founded in integral psychology and the bio-psychosocial modality that incorporates various therapeutic techniques focusing on healing the mind, body and spirit for overall quality of health and wellness. Board-certified in internal medicine, Ravi Akella, M.D., completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, New York. He also has two years of immunology and molecular oncology training from New York University Medical Center. He has been with Orlando Internal Medicine since 2001 and has a specific interest in diabetes, weight management and preventive medicine. A native of Virginia, she received her undergraduate degree in biology from The University of Virginia. After receiving her Master of Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she graduated first in her class, she relocated to Orlando.
