| The staff of the Southwest Orlando Bulletin is seeking singers to compete in the inaugural Southwest Orlando Idol competition, which will be held Tuesday evenings at Cariera’s Cucina Italiana in The Marketplace at Dr. Phillips. Auditions will be held July 24 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. To schedule an audition time, call 407-351-1573, ext. 23. Beginning Aug. 2, contestants face off each week, with the top weekly performers advancing to the semifinals.
