Full-time child care is offered for children ages 6 weeks-4 years, and part-time care is available for children ages 13 months-4 years. Before- and after-school care also is provided for several local elementary schools. The first day of school is Aug. 22. An open house takes place Aug. 18 from 5-7 p.m. There also is a fall festival Oct. 15 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Pickup is available at Windermere and Keene’s Crossing elementary schools, but the program is open to all elementary-age children. Students benefit from reading, math and homework help, as well as science and art activities. The curriculum also includes a critical-thinking skills program and an introduction to Spanish. Students have access to an indoor gym and outdoor playground. The cost is $75 per week, and the program is open during all Orange County Public Schools scheduled school days.

THE FIRST ACADEMY

www.thefirstacademy.org		 The First Academy offers an expanded after-school program called The Royal Academy of Arts and Enrichment, which includes performing and fine arts classes, as well as enrichment classes, for students in kindergarten-eighth grade. RAAE classes are offered on a semester basis of 10-12 weeks. After-school sports programs are also available to TFA students beginning in the Lower School. A variety of sports are available as team programs or individual sport clinics.
