Christopher Goodrum, son of Fred and Karen Goodrum of Dr. Phillips, was named to the University of Florida dean’s list for the 2011 spring semester. Chris, a rising senior at UF, is majoring in sports management and philosophy. He recently took the LSAT law school aptitude test and, after graduating from UF, plans to attend law school and become a sports agent. This is the second semester Chris has been named to UF’s dean’s list. |

Diana Alessandra Graziano was born June 4, 2011, at 5:11 p.m. in Miami, weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 20 inches. Her proud parents are Paulo Graziano, Ph.D., and Marianna Dubinsky. |
| Steve Parker, president of Mattamy Homes US Group, announced the appointment of Matt Gibbons as a new-home counselor for Lake Burden in Windermere and Tuscany Place in Orlando. The Windermere resident has five years of experience in the real estate industry and most recently worked as a sales executive with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Winter Park. Matt holds a bachelor’s in fine arts from Cazenovia College in New York. |
| Olympia High School alumna Kristin Hall was a guest speaker at a recent Rotary Club of Windermere meeting. The 2011 Clemson University graduate spoke about her eight-week trip to Madagascar, where she volunteered with Reef Doctor, a U.K.- based conservation organization. |

Amanda Van Valkenburgh was accepted into the University of Florida Doctor of Nursing Practice program, where she will pursue a career as a family nurse practitioner. The Windermere Club resident recently graduated from UF with a bachelor‘s in nursing and received the faculty award for excellence in pediatric nursing. Amanda passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses and is working at a family practice in Crystal River. Her proud parents and sister are John and Melissa, and Sarah Van Valkenburgh, respectively. |
