| Cirque du Soleil donated $250,000 to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, which is currently under construction in downtown Orlando. The funds will support the collaboration and planning between the two companies to develop programs targeted at emerging artists and children without access to the performing arts. When complete, the center will be home to three main theaters, educational facilities and a public performance plaza, all serving the center’s mission to educated artists, arts organizations, audiences and students throughout Florida. |
