Ruthann DiLauri was recognized as The Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips Rotarian of the Year. She has contributed to numerous Rotary projects, particularly the Wine & Dine on 9 fundraiser at the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard, for which she served as chairwoman. Ruthann also was named March 2011 Rotarian of the Month. |

Ryan Greever, son of Donald and Sandra Greever of Lakeland, and Nicole Marchese, daughter of Arlene Marchese of Buffalo, N.Y., and Joe and Karen Marchese of Batavia, N.Y., announced their engagement. Ryan graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s in anthropology. Nicole received bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and sociology from Buffalo State College. The Dr. Phillips residents are planning a Sept. 9, 2011, wedding in Buffalo. |

Residents participate in the fourth annual Eden Isle Regatta. |
Almost 100 residents attended the fourth annual Eden Isle Regatta. The event included a race of remote-controlled boats, food and a movie. Regatta winner Alex Gonzalez received the traditional lavender sports coat. |

As part of his eighth birthday celebration, Zachary Zweifel participated in March of Dimes’ March for Babies. Proceeds from the 5K benefit research and programs that help mothers achieve fullterm pregnancies and help infants begin healthy lives. Zachary raised seven times his original goal and was recognized by Scott McKenzie of Mix 105.1-FM and Sonni Abatta of Fox 35 News. He would like to extend thank-yous to all his friends and family members who donated to this cause in lieu of birthday gifts. |
